Is "Secure Auto" a good shop to have my viper 791xv installed? Or does anybody know a good shop that does installation of it? Im not looking for the remote start to be installed. My car is a 2000 v6 mustang convertible 5-speed (hence i dont want remote start… wouldnt want to find it in a wall or in my house one morning… or down the street in someones house) It already has power doors and locks and it had a remote that controls the doors and the trunk lid already installed. So does anybody know a good shop that does that kind of work that isnt too pricey. Secure Auto quoted me 90 bux for complete installation and M&M customs quoted me 150 dollars for the same installation. Any help or ideas welcome.

The car alarm will go off on its own & stop randomly. I have no remote for the alarm to shutoff. I want to disable the system, how would I go about doing so? I have searched for help on google but only found a couple of sites that were no help. Anyone have some knowledge that could help me? Thanks a bunch.

I have a 2004 Pontiac Bonneville SE. I was looking for something that will increase the security of my trunk for I don’t happen to come out to my car one day finding my amp and speakers missing. Is there a product out there that will fit my car that will help protect my system? I am planning on getting a good alarm system, but is there anything else that you all would recommend?

the car will not start or respond to the Remote (two-way)… Its a Viper alarm… I just purchased this car and it was stolen already but luckily I had viper with the kill switch! Those thief’s are so mad they couldn’t get my rims! But someone please answer this question fast because I am getting my steering column replaced in the morning. Thanks in advance (oh and its a 1999 Crown Victoria Police Package)

what could be causing all these problems for my car? Another interesting fact is that my presets on my radio gets reset after I start the car. I have taken out my cars amp and subwoofer and remote start/car alarm. (i thought it would fix the problem but it made it alot worse) …I have disconnected the positive battery post to keep it from draining my battery. What can I do to fix this issue? It is driving my crazy.

I’ve had this car starter for years and it’s worked great, it’s the Ultra Start 2-Way Remote Auto Car Starter & Alarm u4285.
Anyway it went haywire and the alarm would go off randomly and the remote stopped communicating with the car. I think I might have dropped the starter in the snow or something.
If I bought the exact same kit (cause I don’t wanna pay to get a whole new one wired in), will it work with what I have in there? Is there something I have to do to configure it?
Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks!

I got 2 12" subs and an amp in my car and love them dearly (lol). Would it be easy for someone to break into my car or disable my alarm? What could they do to break in? Thanks in advance!
Would smashing my windows cause the alarm to go off? I live in front of an apartment complex so that might ward off some and plus the box is so big that it was really hard getting it in, and taking it out would be extremely hard without at least 2 people with alot of time… (extra information…)
