I’m looking for the best car alarm system I have a Toyota Camry

My 2000 Toyota Tacoma’s factory standard Alarm system went off and cannot stop it. I borke borh of my keys with the alarm button trying to turn it off. So I have no remote. Read the instruction to trun the alram system off but the truck does not start now. Any idea how to start the truck or get rid of this alarm?

I have 2007-Toyota Corolla S. When I bought this car from Toyota dealership, I did not include Factory Stander Alarm. However, I’m trying to add alarm system on my car. I want to install simple alarm system (simple like Factory Stander Alarm, not require to install additional speaker etc.)
Where and how can I buy those?

I have a 2008 Toyota Corolla S I bought it in 2008. The alarm system came with the car from the dealer. And yes its a new car from the Toyota Dealer. Couple days ago the alarm starts to function weird. At random, when i turn on my car and turn the gear to R, N, or D. The alarm automatically set to on. Now my car keeps doing it once in a while. Anyone have any idea why it does that?

I have a Toyota Solara I would like to add remote start to; it is an automatic.

I do not want to have to carry 2 remotes….I currently have 1 for the factory locks.

I need it to work with the car in the garage…maybe 20 feet from house. Don’t need a lot of extra features….just start the car and operate the factory door locks and alarm system.

Any advice on brands/models/stores?

I am buying a new Toyota Yaris that is already on the lot. Can Toyota add an alarm to it? If so, how much will it be? (More than if I were to add it before the car came in?)

first of all im not trying to break into a car lol. My 97 toyota camry has a box on the left side of the steering wheel that says "toyota security system" and it has a light and a button. (the light does not blink) Ive seen other cars with alarms that have a small blinking light on them. is this it? When i bought the car it only came with a key and no remote to unlock the doors from outside. Anyone know what that box is for?

Recently had my car checked out a local repair shop and they said the ignition coil was bad. The next day the same problem happened again, took forever, i mean forever as in like 5-10 minutes to start my car. It would crank but not turn over.

Sometimes the car will start using the remote start function on the remote but will never start using the key.

Called a local alarm install shop to see if it was the alarm. They said to put the car alarm in valet mode and if it still did not start then its not the alarm. (not sure if that is true or not). I did that and it still did not start. So as of right now I’m pretty clueless and whats going with my car.
